With this project we aim to create European Innovatory, a European movement of 840 high-school pupils, 70 teachers, 50 experts and decision makers involved in a creative and collaborative learning process identifying needs and problems in society and providing creative solutions on local and European level based on the method of Design Thinking until 2023.
Specific aims of the project:
To involve high-school students (aged 14-18) and their teachers from seven urban areas in developing their critical thinking, creative and problem-solving skills
To come up with an innovative way to promote young people's creative and proactive problem-solving capacity to local stakeholders and decision-makers
To develop a Europe-wide scalable learning movement focused on social innovation and Design Thinking
To build a long-term collaboration, management, and decision- making platform comprising seven pilot cities and ten additional European stakeholders.
Who will beinvolved? •Local coordinators Key personnel working in the project (technical and professional coordinator, financial contact).
•Local advisory board A group of key stakeholders (7-15 people) involved in the project (municipality, youth sector, business sector, education sector)
•Teachers A group of 10 teachers from each city, selected and trained for this project
•High-school pupils The total number of 840 young people involved by the selected teachers, each teacher forming 3 teams of 4 people.
•European Stakeholders Involved when preliminary results will be delivered (O1 and O2), and during the final multiplier event of our project and the dissemination activities
